Doody, Cecilia

Ms. Doody teaches Algebra and Advanced Algebra. She also works part-time at the Apple Store in the Walden Galleria. In her spare time she enjoys biking, golfing, bowling, going to watch the Sabres, playing fantasy football, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the use of technology. Her friends and family refer to her as the “gadget girl.” You might also see her out in the neighborhood walking her dogs.

This summer she rode her bike, along with 62 others, 560 miles across NY State to raise money for AIDS programs in NY State. She personally raised around $4000, and the ride has raised about $350,000 to date. The snap shot was taken on the last day of the ride in Battery Park overlooking the Statue of Liberty. That was her victory pose for riding every one of the 560 miles. The other picture has become Ms. Doody's favorite road sign.
